The End

31 07 2007

Well, I didn’t really do much.  I messed around with my old Macs for the first couple of weeks as usual.  I even saved a IIgs from the scrap pile at the local dump.  It has a smashed case, but the board is fine.  For the past week and a half I’ve been at summer camp, so I haven’t been able to use my old Macs.  But while here, I talked to a couple people, and I’ll be getting a Power Mac 6500 and a few Commodore 64s!

I doubt that I’ll win, but that’s not the point, is it?

I made the banner from the wallpaper titled Simplicity by Gwynn Aaron Peabody on MacDesktops.com.

You can see my collection of vintage computers here.

I might be doing some photo editing on the Quadra 630, and possibly even some 3d work. I have a boxed copy of Specular Infini-D. I’m really glad I didn’t have to fork out what that program retailed for – about $600 I think. Or maybe it was $800. Either way, it was still really expensive. And whoever spent all that money never even opened the box – it was still shrinkwrapped when I got it!

I’m also setting up my SE as a cook book for my mom. It’s gonna take forever to type in this 6″ stack of recipes.

I’ll be doing plenty of other stuff with my vintage systems as well, stay tuned!
